ABOUT MINERALNI BANI PROJECT


The activities envisaged within the project are rehabilitation and exploitation of "Toplikos" Fortress in Mineralni bani village. The foreseen activities include rehab of the adjacent area around the fortress, reconstructin and rehabilitation of the path network, expanding the accessibility for disadvantaged people, multimedia and presentation equipment to ensure park and artistic lighting of the archaeological site; forming relaxing and recreation zones; setting up an area for organizing performances in the open and touristic attractions. In addition, the Toplikos Fortress will be exploited through temporary methods, aiming at presenting the history of Mineralni Bani through the centuries. Multimedia in combination with sound, light effects, animation and smoke show will used to bring the historic site to life and turn it into breathtaking exhibition. This audiovisual show is a contemporary means for marketing and advertisement of the archeological site through recreation of images, pictures and movements. The enhanced attraction and information value of historical monument "Toplikos" in Mineralni bani village will contribute for accelerated development of tourism and promotion of the rich natural, historical and cultural potential of the cross- border area.
